Level + Mission Design
Leading another designer, I co-designed and scripted two driving levels for EA LA’s Danger Close Games: a Karachi slum pursuit and a Dubai escape. I laid out initial road networks and mission beats, collaborated with art on modular techniques that allowed designers to prove out entire mission flows early. Despite our AI engineers concerns, I tuned AI to navigate RNG traffic to create a dynamic pursuit through the busy streets of Karachi.
Level + Mission Design
Tasked with my first FPS level, I designed a 15 minute gameplay experience within a provided boat shell. I mapped out player routes, major beats, AI encounters, and asset needs from a top-down perspective. A key lesson learned was the critical importance of early lighting discussions, as contrasting brightness made enemy visibility challenging.
